Joe Owens is an experienced educator and administrator with a career dedicated to supporting teaching and learning. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, followed by a Master’s degree and a Doctorate from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and Technology from Adelphi University

Throughout his career, Joe has worked to create environments where teachers feel supported and students can flourish. Observation Assistant grew out of that same commitment — bringing together his classroom and leadership experience to offer a practical, trustworthy way of turning classroom moments into meaningful insights.
